Using Find It with Woolworths: cheaper, closer, and quicker

Woolworths is a national supermarket. You can walk into one in a capital city, a regional centre, or a smaller town — and the useful question is rarely “does Woolworths exist in Australia?” It is: which nearby Woolworths looks right for this product, at this price, if I need it soon?

Find It is built for that question. When Woolworths is included in your search, Find It queries Woolworths’ catalogue and uses a nationwide set of store locations so results can show a named nearby store, not a generic brand tile. You still buy on Woolworths’ own site or in the store. Find It is how you compared first.

What “all of Woolworths” means here

Woolworths operates across every Australian state and territory. Find It does not publish a full store directory on this page. Locations change, and a thousand-row list would be out of date the week after we wrote it.

Instead, Find It keeps a national pin map of Woolworths locations (about 1,056 pins from OpenStreetMap, with suburb or place names — for example Beenleigh, not a blank “Woolworths”). Those pins are for Closer: distance to a real place near you when you share a postcode or use your location.

That map is a helper, not Woolworths’ official store list, and pin coordinates are approximate. If a new supermarket opened last week, it may not be on the map yet.

Cheaper — lowest price in this search

Cheaper (sort by price) is for the lowest number Find It currently has in this search, across the stores you included.

It is not a promise that you have the cheapest Woolworths price in Australia, or the cheapest price anywhere. Pack sizes differ. Promotions end. Online and in-store prices can disagree. Always confirm on woolworths.com.au before you pay.

Use a specific product when you can (“full cream milk 2L”, a brand and size), not a vague aisle name.

Closer — nearest Woolworths with a place name

Closer (Closest first) needs a postcode or location. Find It then uses the Woolworths pin map to rank by distance and to label the nearest store with a suburb or locality — so you can tell which Woolworths, not just that the brand exists.

Set Show to In-store when the trip is the point. Use Online when you are comparing delivered or click-and-collect listings. All mixes both.

In-store distance is soft enrichment: it is the nearest pin, not a separate catalogue search of that one supermarket’s back room.

Stock — what Find It can and cannot say

Find It does not walk every Woolworths and check the shelf for you. Woolworths search in Find It uses national product flags (in stock / collect / delivery style signals from the retailer’s search payload). The honest UI line is: national stock — confirm on the retailer site.

Treat availability as a lead, then confirm in the Woolworths app, on the website, or in the aisle before you drive across town.

Quicker — pickup and delivery when time matters

Quicker (Quickest first) is for when the calendar matters as much as the cents. With a postcode or location, Find It can sort by estimated click and collect or delivery speed where those cues exist.

A cheaper online listing that arrives next week is a different decision from a nearby collect today. Quicker is the sort for that trade-off. Estimates can be missing; if they are, try another store set or confirm your location, then confirm cut-off times on Woolworths.
