Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 August 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Find It at findit.best and any related apps we operate (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
2. What Find It is (and is not)
Find It is an Australian product search and price-comparison tool. We help you discover products and compare publicly available prices and related signals (such as distance or stock indicators where a retailer exposes them) across selected retailers.
Find It is not a retailer, marketplace, or seller. We do not sell the products listed. When you follow a product link, you leave Find It and deal with that retailer’s own website, terms, pricing, and fulfilment.
3. Commercial relationships and third-party links
Find It is not the seller of products shown on the Service. When you follow a product or offer link, you leave Find It and deal with the destination site under that third party’s terms.
- Organic results. Unpaid retailer comparison cards are not sold ranking slots. Their order follows the sort and filters you choose (and quality filters described in the How we compare / Disclosure page).
- Promoted results. The Service may include clearly labelled Promoted or Sponsored cards or links supplied via affiliate or commercial partners (for example Commission Factory, Amazon Associates, and eBay Partner Network when enabled). Find It or those partners may receive a fee or commission from related clicks or purchases. Labels appear on the card and/or near results. Details of how commercial placements work are on the Disclosure page.
- One network per click. The Service aims for one tracking network per outbound Promoted click (no dual-tagging on the same click).
4. Accuracy and limitations of results
- Third-party data. Names, prices, images, availability, and store details come from retailer sites or APIs and may be incomplete, delayed, cached, or wrong.
- Not advice. Results are for general information only. They are not financial, purchasing, or professional advice. Always confirm price and stock on the retailer’s site before buying.
- Coverage. We do not claim to cover every Australian retailer or every product. Active stores and search depth may change as the Service develops.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the Service or others. You must not:
- Attempt to scrape, overload, bypass rate limits, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Probe, scan, or attack admin or other non-public endpoints
- Misrepresent the Service as the retailer or as guaranteeing price or stock
- Use the Service in a way that violates applicable Australian law
6. Intellectual property
The Find It name, branding, and our own software and site design are owned by us or our licensors. Retailer names, logos, product images, and catalogue content remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for identification and comparison only.
7. Privacy
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy (/privacy). By using the Service, you also acknowledge that policy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any price, stock, or distance information is current or complete.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find It and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or pure economic loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on search results, retailer sites, or third-party services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the Service or paying the cost of re-supply, at our option, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Third-party sites
Links to retailers and other sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, privacy practices, or transactions you enter into with them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia (and, where applicable, the state or territory in which the operators principally conduct the Service). Courts in Australia may hear disputes arising under these Terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be raised through the Contact page or via the Privacy Policy.
