About Find It

1. What Find It is

Find It is an Australian product search and price-comparison service. Search and compare product prices across Australian retailers including Kmart, Target, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Aldi, Chemist Warehouse, BCF, Rebel Sport, Supercheap Auto, Priceline, and Umart. It also helps you find it closer — nearest stores and distances when you share a postcode or location.

Find It is built around three ideas: Cheaper (compare prices), Closer (see what’s near you), and Quicker (prefer delivery-available options). Tap Closer on the homepage, or choose Closest first under Sort by, to put nearer results first.

You use Find It at findit.best (and related apps when published). Search across selected retailers, compare prices, and — where a retailer exposes them — see stock or availability signals on product cards.

2. What we are not

• Not a retailer. We do not sell the products you see. Product links take you to the retailer’s own site to buy.
• Not complete coverage. We do not claim to include every Australian store or every SKU. The active retailer set can change as the product develops.
• Not a guarantee. Prices and availability come from third-party sites or APIs and may be cached, delayed, or wrong. Always confirm on the retailer site before purchasing.

3. How comparison works (today)

You enter a search, optionally choose stores and a location (postcode or GPS), and Find It queries the retailers we support. On-page controls then let you look at the same results three ways:

• Cheaper. Sort by price to put the lowest (or highest) price first.
• Closer. Enter a postcode or use GPS, then tap Closer (or choose Closest first). Where we have store locations, cards can show how far the nearest store is. Use In-store only and Within (km) to tighten the search. Distance from a postcode can be approximate; always confirm stock on the retailer’s site.
• Quicker. Prefer options marked as delivery-available based on retailer data — not a guaranteed delivery time.

4. Rankings and sponsorship

Search results may include labelled Promoted or Sponsored placements (affiliate or partner offers) in addition to organic retailer comparisons. Organic retailer order / placement cannot be bought or manipulated. There are no hidden changes to product order or comparison based on affiliation or partnerships.
