Planning a Kmart shop: from the first search to the final choice

You go looking for a storage tub and notice a lamp. The lamp may be useful, or it may simply look appealing beside the display. Before it joins the basket, there is a practical question worth asking: does it suit the job and the budget you had in mind?

Before browsing: give the search a clear job

Start with the item you came for. Include its brand, size and SKU if you know them, and make sure Kmart is selected in your active stores.

Use Cheaper to sort the prices available in that search. Compare the actual product and pack size rather than relying on similar names or photographs. Online specials, in-store prices and third-party marketplace offers can differ.

Before choosing a store: separate distance from stock

Find It queries Kmart's catalogue and uses 292 vetted store pins from operator triad review to attach a named nearby store. Enter your postcode or use GPS location, then choose Closer (Closest first) to rank by distance.

A nearby pin tells you where a store is. It does not tell you what is on that store's shelves. Kmart results use national product and availability signals, not a branch-by-branch stock check.

Choose In-store for a planned visit, Online when delivery or click-and-collect listings matter, or All to see both. Confirm local availability through Kmart's website or app, or call the store before travelling for a particular item.

Before leaving: check the map and the clock

The national map on this guide clusters nearby Kmart pins. Zoom in for individual locations and trading hours where we have them. Hours are recorded in seven-day blocks and were cross-checked during onboarding.

For the item you planned to buy, check the model, pack size, current price and availability. For the extra item that caught your eye, make the same comparison before deciding whether to add it.
