You can spend $25 on a hair dryer, or you can spend nearly $70. The Remington Advanced Coconut Therapy asks you to pay more than double the price of its rivals, setting up a showdown between raw wattage and marketed hair treatments.

The $5 Upgrade

At the budget end, the choice is simple. The Luna costs $24.99 and delivers 2000W of power. But for just $5 more, the VS Sassoon Pro Dry steps up to 2300W.

That extra grunt means faster drying times. It makes the VS Sassoon an easy upgrade over the absolute cheapest option on the shelf.

Paying for Therapy

Then there is the Remington. At $67, it costs $37.01 more than the VS Sassoon. You are paying that premium for its coconut therapy branding.

Without a listed wattage, it is hard to know if the Remington actually pushes more air than the cheaper alternatives. You have to really want those specialty features to justify the price jump.

Verdict

Buy the VS Sassoon Pro Dry. At $29.99, it delivers a known 2300W of power, hitting the sweet spot for value. The Luna is not worth saving a mere $5, and the Remington asks too much unless you are entirely sold on its coconut therapy claims.
